HOCKEY @ MCAST
MCAST student Bernice Calleja took the initiative and came forward with the idea of organising a field hockey teaser for her fellow students. The participants had a great time trying their hand at this team sport that originated back in the Middle Ages in England, Scotland, France and the Netherlands. They were also joined by a staff member who used to play hockey with one of the local clubs until a few years ago.
Eventually, thanks to Bernice and MCAST staff, field hockey sessions were held every Monday and Thursday during lunch breaks.
